Mary praises God
Because of what the Angel had just told her
she was so excited and could not wait to see Elizabeth and share her own news, Mary sets off to visit.
Mary means "bitter."
Mary was to become the wife of Joseph and the mother of Jesus.
Both Mary and Joseph were from the line of David.
