Genesis 3:16-19 – בְּרֵאשִׁית ג, טז-יט

You shall bear children in pain.
True to God’s word even to day woman bear children in pain and men have to work to provide for themselves and their families.
The ground grows weeds easily and food from the ground is only got with a lot of hard work.
When we die we return to the ground. 		בעצב תלדי בנים.
על פי דברי האל עד היום האישה בצער תלד בנים והאיש יעבוד לקיים את עצמו ואת משפחתו.
הקרקע הצמיחה יבולים בקלות ומזון מן האדמה הושג רק בעבודה קשה.
כאשר אנו מתים, אנו חוזרים לאדמה.

אֶל-הָאִשָּׁה אָמַר, הַרְבָּה אַרְבֶּה עִצְּבוֹנֵךְ וְהֵרֹנֵךְ–בְּעֶצֶב, תֵּלְדִי בָנִים; וְאֶל-אִישֵׁךְ, תְּשׁוּקָתֵךְ, וְהוּא, יִמְשָׁל-בָּךְ. {ס}
וּלְאָדָם אָמַר, כִּי-שָׁמַעְתָּ לְקוֹל אִשְׁתֶּךָ, וַתֹּאכַל מִן-הָעֵץ, אֲשֶׁר צִוִּיתִיךָ לֵאמֹר לֹא תֹאכַל מִמֶּנּוּ–אֲרוּרָה הָאֲדָמָה, בַּעֲבוּרֶךָ, בְּעִצָּבוֹן תֹּאכְלֶנָּה, כֹּל יְמֵי חַיֶּיךָ.

בְּזֵעַת אַפֶּיךָ, תֹּאכַל לֶחֶם, עַד שׁוּבְךָ אֶל-הָאֲדָמָה, כִּי מִמֶּנָּה לֻקָּחְתָּ: כִּי-עָפָר אַתָּה, וְאֶל-עָפָר תָּשׁוּב.
