Dates that Jesus might have been born

The year and month people have said that Jesus might have been born:
Some say at the time of the Feast of Tabernacles, in September/October of our calendar, lines up with the date of John the Baptist’s birth at Passover in March/April as the most probable date of Jesus’ arrival. This date can be confirmed by the time of the Abijah division of service on the Temple roster fulfilled by John’s father Zechariah. One thing is certain and that is that Jesus was not born on December 25, as it is the middle of winter and the sheep and their shepherds would have been indoors to avoid the snow, rain and freezing conditions.

Many chose between 6BC to 5BC. Other dates vary from 12BC to the date that Herod the Great died which was in spring [March, April, May] 4BC.

Our western tradition that Jesus was born on December 25th and born in the year 0BC which are both incorrect. Leaving us with a lot of unanswered questions. In our western culture this date is taken from our western calendar not the Jewish calendar. December the 21st is the Winter Solstice in Israel and after this time in the northern hemisphere the sun started to come back and the days grew longer.

May be the date of 14th April 6BC as per a film about Jesus.

Many people have different years, months and days that Jesus was born. Yet all agree he was born the Son of God and that he died and rose again.
