Caleb was Joshua's assistant and was 85 years old when he entered the promised land.
Caleb from the tribe of Judah was a leader of Israel after the death of Joshua.
Caleb in Hebrew means: a dog.

Caleb
Caleb the son of Jephunneh was one of the 12 spies sent into the promised land by Moses and one of only two spies that bought back a good report about the land of Israel. Caleb much later became one of the leaders of Israel after the death of Joshua.
