The Seventh Bowl of Wrath – Hailstones

Revelation 16:17-21. The Seventh Bowl of God’s anger. Hailstones fall weighing about 50 kg or 114 lbs each. Think of the damage hailstones this size could do.

And a great earthquake strikes, splitting Jerusalem into three parts. And collapsing many of the cities of the world.

Mankind was still cursing God. They were choosing not to turn to Him and be saved.

Background Reading:

The 7th Bowl of Wrath – Hail

16:17 The seventh angel threw the contents of his bowl across the sky. A loud voice came from the throne in the Temple and said, “It has happened!” 18 There were flashes of lightning, noises, peals of thunder, and a powerful earthquake. There has never been such a powerful earthquake since people have been on the earth. 19 The great city was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. God remembered to give Babylon the Great the cup of wine filled with the fury of his wrath. 20 Every island vanished, and the mountains could no longer be found. 21 Huge hailstones, each weighing about a talent, fell from the sky on people, who cursed God because the plague of hail was so terrible.
