Thick Darkness

Luke 23:44-46 and Matthew 27:45. There was darkness for three hours as Jesus hung on the cross this was still the 14th of Nisan.

Two other places you will find darkness mentioned are:
Thick darkness that could be felt on Egypt for three days, but in the land of Goshen, where the Israelites lived, there was light. Ra, the sun god of the Egypt, was judged.
Revelation 6:12-17, the sixth seal.

44 It was already about noon, and the whole land became dark until three in the afternoon 45 because the sun had stopped shining, and the curtain in the sanctuary was torn in two. 46 Then Jesus cried out with a loud voice and said, “Father, into your hands I entrust my spirit.” After he said this, he breathed his last.
