Luke 24:1-12. 18th Nisan. Yes, the women started to believe the angels that Jesus indeed had risen from the dead.
Jesus said He would rise from the dead and He did. Other things Jesus said must be true as well. The disciples at this stage did not believe the women. All of them had to have their own encounters with the risen Jesus before they believed.
The women had gone to the tomb to work on a dead man. This dead man had told them that He would rise from the dead and somehow this had not got through to these women. It had definitely not got through to the disciples.

The Resurrection – Jesus is Raised from the Dead
24:1 But at early dawn on the first day of the week, they went to the tomb, taking the spices they had prepared. 2 They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, 3 but when they went in, they didn’t find the body of the Lord Jesus. 4 While they were puzzling over this, two men in dazzling robes suddenly stood beside them. 5 While the women remained terrified, bowing their faces to the ground, the men asked them, “Why are you looking among the dead for someone who is living? 6 He is not here, but has been raised. Remember what he told you while he was still in Galilee: 7 ‘The Son of Man must be handed over to sinful men, be crucified, and rise on the third day.’”
8 Then the women remembered Jesus’ words. 9 They returned from the tomb and reported all these things to the eleven disciples and all the others. 10 The women who told the apostles about it were Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and some others. 12 But what they said seemed nonsense to them, so they did not believe them. 12 Peter, however, got up and ran to the tomb. He stooped down and saw only the linen cloths. Then he went home, wondering about what had happened.
Luke 24:1-12
More Information:
Even the disciples did not believe the women, because their words seemed to be nonsense (the Greek leros is a medical term for a delirium). These women who were going to look after a dead person were the first people to see Jesus after His resurrection.
